"Stéphane Pratte designs monumental sculptures. They are polished. They are either lightly enamelled or smoked.

The techniques used are those employed by potters and sculptors.
There is a mixture of the two because the technique has always been to support her creativity whenever possible. She attempts to tame materials which she feeds to the fire in the same way she converses with its energies "un- or supra-conscious"."
