Sculptor, painter, self-educated and originating from the Chartreuse mountains, Lucien Descotes-Genon maintains two passions : sculpture and painting. He devotes part of his professional life to sculpting on wood for furnishings. You can also discover his statues and low relief works in certain churches in the Chartreuse area. Endlessly, he paints with talent, fervour, delicacy... Always on the look-out for an abandoned house or a forgotten path, he attempts to reconstruct his love of nature through his work. With his watercolours, his pastels...he invites us to take a stroll in the Chartreuse area |
