Brigitte BREHON discovered the magic of glass (inseparable from light) through a stained glass window.
She has been restoring ancient stained glass productions since 1990, working at the same time on contemporary creations for a private clientele. In 1994, feeling limited by the possibilities offered by glass and lead, she developed her technique by following a number of courses at Sars-Poteries university in Maubeuge, discovering meltdown-thermoforming and glass mosaic techniques.
Her artistic creations are varied: dishes, sconces, etc.
In 1999, she moved towards artistic expression in sculpture. Her sculptures follow her inspiration, either along a theme or working on symbolism.

More than a simple quest for beauty, her work speaks the language of the soul.
Playing on the transparency, opacity and various other aspects of the glass (matt or gloss, smooth or rough, often including other materials too), the result expresses a range of emotions. »
