Cécile Lienhard was born in 1970 near Clermont Ferrand. She now lives in the Drôme region. Having studied at the Beaux-Arts institute in St Etienne, then the Decorative Arts school in Strasbourg, she soon turned to super-happy, hyper-fun, extra-coloured creations. For Cécile, art is simple, direct and intuitive. Shape, colour and the pleasure of creating and sharing.
After ten years working with ceramics and a break to have her twin girls, she has now broadened her horizons to textile and furniture creation, drawing and painting… She has not abandoned ceramics totally, but wanted to try everything to maintain the fun and renew the pleasure of discovery."
