Agnès His

Agnès HIS is a ceramic artist. She studied at the Beaux Arts institutes in Le Havre and Rouen. After teaching plastic arts for a few years, she settled in Touraine and opened her own studio.
In 1987, she presented her work at the Châteauroux ceramic biennial for the first time, followed by other exhibitions in France.
Since 1998, she has also exhibited in Italy, Switzerland, England, Belgium and Japan.
Her latest ceramics testify to a change in the way she works her material, moving towards an increasingly stark style, based on shape, engraving and use of pigments.
