As soon as Alain Rouzé looks through his camera lens, everything appears to be magical - he lets his imagination run wild. His gestures are moments of inextricable trances where he can capture hundreds of things that he senses, whether consciously or not.

He doesn't try to photograph the extraordinary - on the contrary, he tries to enhance what we see everyday, everything that is simple, ignored, and goes unnoticed because we are so used to it.

But if we did take a closer look... His photographs reunite 2 elements - the essence touched by something external and once that happens, everything comes together, enhancing him, luring him with their shapes, their colours, the light, all intoxicating him with the fragrance of "beauty". 

The beauty of the light, the colours and non-colours*, the lines, the shapes, the volumes are where he draws his sources for the harmony of the images, brought together to create an atmosphere, a setting.

The subjects that he photographs are an integral part of nature - man of course is part of it.

For those who look at his images, he tries to create unconscious reflexes in their imagination to invite them on a journey.
