Guy Bailly

Guy Bailly uses clay to demonstrate the power of fire and water. Defects and risks become a goal to reflect his creativity and the unique nature of each piece. Inspired by cave paintings and writings, African art, primitive symbolism or techniques, he loves to evoke masks, mosaics, frescoes and various other objects. In the tribal style that inhabits him, he creates frescoes and numerous indigenous characters.
In parallel with his career, he has taken a number of artistic courses:
1980 - Silk-screen printing and photography techniques,
1994 - 1999 - Modelling, sculpture, drawing and ceramic practice and technique: Beaux Arts workshops in Creil - Espace Matisse,
1998 - RAKU firing techniques - Revermont workshops.
