Concept and approach :

Passionate about design, Alexis LAHELLEC has just opened a gallery in his home, close to Meudon, for fellow designer-lovers with "small budgets".
It particularly focuses on design from the 50s to the 80s and contains designer furniture, largely from Scandinavia, and a vast range of objects - some of which are signed : lamps, crockery, artistic creations, chairs, office furniture, book-cases, beds... It's the opposite of a gallery, or more precisely, the opposite of a museum.
It really is about objects which we want to live with from day-to-day and not just those which we want to look at or admire. An eclectic but interesting choice.
