Concept and approach :

This Breton landscape gardener's main aim is to integrate the garden into its natural or urbanised environment, its history, its true reality… Erwann TYMEN likes to bring into the garden the alliances and contrasts he finds within a home environment. He thus takes into account the gusty wind by the sea and the ruggedness of the local granite in the country. The first task for this gardener is to make a natural link between the house and its setting in order to continue the same spirit, the same story, be it in the stone, the earth or the plant life. Nature, harmony, integration and coherency dictate the approach in selecting the plants and other materials that will be used, naturally different depending on each place, each region, each atmosphere.
