The "Rupestres” series of slim silhouetted sculptures is part of the movement around the human body interpreted as a stage decoration. It is also research into materials and textures, vitreous slip techniques, polished clays and raku fired enamels.
"In sculpture, I like to go to the essential.”

Turned, deformed sandstone scuplted at the same time around the sphere and pebble. With the "Boule zen” series, Marion ROUSSEL explores the boundaries between balance and disequilibrium, interpenetrating in the heart of nature and the cosmos. Her hollow deformation includes black and white enamel, combining the fundamental symbols of a mind/body dimension that inspires serenity.
