Isabelle DELIN uses chamotte clay that must be fired at high temperatures (1280-1300°). The malleability of the clay gives freedom to create characters that are unique in their expression, size and nature. They are then dressed in a haze of ash enamel. Isabelle DELIN’s sculptures seem to combine solidity/stability at the bottom and graceful elegance in the upper part of each subject.
