Claire WOLFSTIRN comes from Paris. She started out studying industrial design, working as a designer and graphic artist in various companies as well as freelancing.
In 1997, she signed up for a "contemporary jewellery" course at the AFEDAP and completed her training as an intern with Yves Gratas.
At the same time, she joined "GROUPE ARCANES", a group of fourteen designers working together on jewellery research, determined to show that this research, more so than the research into the material used, focuses largely on the creative approach applied to jewellery design.
Claire WOLFSTIRN designs her jewellery combining the precision of her design training with the eye of a graphic artist, adopting simple shapes and pure, geometrical lines.
