Gé Pellini's work is a statement of the evanescence of the moment. That's why we have to pay particular attention to his work, and inspect its particularity, its timelessness. By smoothing out the last polish, the ultimate chisel on the bronze, stone and marble formed by the master's hands, we soon understand that even if his preferred models are those of animals with horns and humans, Gé. Pellini is not an animalier, nor a naturalist but an analyst who represents the quintessence of his subjects. |
