Marie Noëlle GRANGE works from her studio in Burgundy.
Since 2001, she has been exhibiting regularly at pottery fairs and art galleries, often contributing to exhibits by groups of artists.
Her creations can be found in France of course, but also abroad.
She works mainly with chamotte stoneware, fired at between 1260 and 1300°. Her creations are coated with slip, oxides or coloured patina. She loves to challenge the limits of clay by sculpting large figures. Another of her pleasures is to combine materials, adding rusted iron wire to certain sculptures.
Romance, tenderness and good humour are her guides in the creation process. Her mischievous bubble women, sensual willowy "Lianes" collection, not to mention her sumptuous "Marquises" show a strong tendency to pay homage to femininity.
